Sad but sweet



I came across this in on the side of the gazebo in Ciutadella Parc this afternoon. The plaque commemorates the murder of a transvestite named Sonia in October 1991. I´m trying to find out some more about what happened, so far all I managed is that she was killed by six "skin heads" who eventually were sentenced to a total of 310 years in jail. The plaque reads (and here is a rought translation of Catalan):

"In this gazebo, the transvestite Gloria was killed by the hands of fascists.
You will never be forgotten"
