I was led to this piece by Peter Tatchell in today's Guardian. It's quite shocking to hear that even in the UK, gay men were still not allowed to donate blood - even if HIV negative.

- After 8 years living in London, I decided to pack up and move to Barcelona, where I now live with my partner in a wonderful sparsely furnished (not out of choice) flat bang in the centre of the city.
